Resource Acquisition Plan
SimTech’s resource acquisition plan is an essential component that stems from our
resource management plan. The purpose of our acquisition plan is to be resourceful to everyone
involved on internal and external projects. This includes the security of our employees,
equipment, programs, databases, and other IT specifics to execute the assignment. To achieve
project success, our project manager will team with IT specifics and other stakeholders to
illustrate government practices, cost and budgeting, team skills and criteria, and acquisition
procedure. We aim to use our task tracking system through SimTech’s portal, business
development pipelines, and team calendars to achieve our results.
Policies and Procedures
The purpose of our project manager is to lead the process of managing projects. Procedures and
policies are common due to its series of particular guidelines that are in place for achieving a
level of consistency and restrictive demands amongst the team. [ CITATION Tom21 \l 1033 ]
In the project environment, these tools guide each person involved within the project to
implement substantial results. For an example, if a PM needs to make an executive decision, one
must follow the mandated resource requirement procedure of SimTech’s organization.
Procedures are critical referring to an overall project; these are normally followed in every
company with specific steps and an end goal. One case scenario includes a PEO that needs to
achieve some additional resource to one of our partners about implementing a certain software
for one of our clients. To perform this measure, the PEO must communicate with the PM, then
communicate with our BD to initiate an NDA and TA for this action. Additional research and
information gathering normally involves the approval from our PM to go after certain tasks
within our company. Without an NDA or TA in place, this can leak confidential information and
disclose
our business initiative without our organization’s permission. We will also risk our identities of
potential partners. In most cases, the pm will solely be responsible for all business activities
regulated within our company, so we must achieve appropriate communications, team members,
and further resources to protect ourselves and the company’s policies. Figure A represents the
procedures and resources for each initiative.
