The company name is Brandless, located in Grovetown, GA, and it is a technology
company. It is an entity that focuses mainly on the development and manufacturing of
technology products. The company also provides technology as a service. It deals
primarily with electronics-based technology. The company is concentrated mainly on

current condition since teams have been showing low productivity results for the last two
months. Knowledge sharing in this organization is especially crucial because work with
technologies always demands updates in the information. Sharing Knowledge is essential
for the effectiveness of leadership. Employee motivation is influenced by cultural norms
that are possible to be implemented in the Brandless if they exclude competition, involve
training with the leaders of thoughts, and promote one aim.
Reasons as to Why Employees do not Share Knowledge
The first reason why employees do not Share Knowledge in the Brandless is lack of
motivation. Employees are not motivated to develop as individuals, but as a team, they do
not share Knowledge. The second reason is competitiveness. If an employee knows
something better than another, he/she will not disclose it for fear of stealing an idea or way
to work better. Because the company is more focused on individual work, promoting team
spirit, employees compete for job and bonuses. The third reason employees do not share
Knowledge is a cross-cultural environment where people cannot find common ground.
Often, employees in companies like Brandless come from all over the world; they seem to
work as a team, but at the same time are not interested in helping each other. Therefore,
there is a need to find a solution to solve this dilemma.
