MGT 6303 Project Stakeholders
Introduction
Large scale change to an organization, such as re-creating our current shared page, takes
careful planning and acknowledgement of those affected by the changes. The shared page will be
known as “Sharepoint,” and hold information easily accessible to all employees for their roles
and company news. Identification of the requirements to make the changes will be the first stages
of investigation for each department to report back to the team devoted to the plan. Then the
group will work to design a plan for implementation that will be general for the company;
however, still malleable enough for future changes depending on the needs of departments.
Selection of the stakeholders from the departments will be determined by top performers based
off management referrals. These are those willing and ready to make changes, have previously
been in similar projects, and currently meet or exceeds the needs of their job descriptions.
Resource Management Plan
Procuring the necessary stakeholders from departments to aide in the addition of
materials and distribution of the training is essential to the success of bringing this enterprise-
wide change. These stakeholders work with the project team on testing and training development
for their departments. Being involved first had with the testing and initial deployment brings a
greater support team and understanding for additional support and updates that may be needed
along the project distribution timeline. While there will be much work completed by these
stakeholders on the frontlines, the project team will be the reporting party and ultimate decision
