1. Frequency distribution of a variable and bar graph of the same variable
- The frequency table below displays the statistics of marital status of women for this
sample. The nominal variable “marital” contains five categories including: divorced,
married, never married, separated, and widowed. As presented by the table and bar graph
we can indicate that 63% of women in this data have never been married. Next category
of variables are divorced (15.6%) and separated (12%). Finally, you can see that 6% of
women are married and 2.6% are widowed.
