I think the bases have equal amounts of each because they mirror are linked with one
another, creating a message and eventually being translated.
6. What do you think would happen if there was an extra base deleted from the mRNA
code of a protein?
An extra base deleted or added would change the coding of the mRNA and would cause a
translation of a different protein, one that may be nonfunctional.
