Their government to increase their economic standing and improve their economic development drew up policies that would interest foreign investors and lure their business to India. India is a nation of diversity and culture. When Investors want to expand into the Indian market or India wants to expand their market elsewhere, culture is one of the most important factors considered. Culture determines what they buy, how much of it they buy, and what they want more of. Foreign investor, including Walmart should consider getting background on India and learning their cultures and their differences. By adapting to who they area you create a higher chance of acceptance rather than standing out, just fit in. For example, there are cultural differences in India which is why it is important to a check and research before involving your time. Some have limited access to goods, which would mean any business you do would be limited to parts of the population and not the whole. This will limit any projected income for the future. The cultural differences are actually a barrier/wall that divides the population. This affects how business is done, not to mention the regulations that foreign business must follow.
