To show locations, layout and materials of architectural ceiling components and their
relationship to structural, mechanical and electrical elements.
Scale: 1:100 or 1:50 1/8”=1’-0” or ¼”=1’-0”
Information on Site Plan:
Structural gridlines and elements.
Walls, with doors and windows removed or drawn in dotted lines.
Room names and numbers.
Ceiling and soffit materials (referenced to a legend).
Ceiling heights above finish floor level (A.F.F).
Bulkheads, ceiling drops, access panels, sound baffles, slopes or ceiling patterns.
Exposed beams or trusses.
Mechanical elements that interface with architectural ceilings. (ex: air diffusers, return
air grilles, sprinklers ... etc.
Electrical elements that interface with architectural ceilings. (ex: lighting fixtures, exit
lights ...... etc.)
