Introduction: Hollywood has done a very good job at glorifying robbers and at times showing in great detail the planning involved in these crimes. Cash-in-Transit robberies are one of those crimes which if done correctly and with proper planning can guarantee the robbers with great financial gain. But this is not Hollywood and we are not part of a movie. CIT robberies are a serious crime which can have severe consequences, not just for the security guards/CIT personnel members that is on duty that day but also for the businesses that make use of a CIT vehicle to transport their money, and any citizens that are close by when the heist takes place.
