Math 225 Week 2 Lab (2020) _ (NURSING) Johns Hopkins University
Cardiac arrest is the abrupt loss of heart function. Each year in the United States, more than 350,000 cardiac arrest occur outside the hospital setting (American Heart Association, 2017). I choose cardiac arrest as my search term because it is something that I encounter in my profession daily. Understanding the medical emergency is crucial for reviving the patient but also to explain to the family members effectively what happened to their loved ones. During my search for cardiac arrest there were 2,781 articles displayed.
