Introductions and description of tutorials
This is a flipped learning subject: MUST come to the class
prepared (readings, prepare team tasks)
80% minimum attendance (can’t lose more than 3 tutorials)
Lectures not mandatory but highly recommended to succeed
Keeping learning diary is strong advised
Central objective is to critically think about organisations and to
realise the different theoretical lenses help seeing different
aspects of organisations
When you look at an organisation, you have a preconceived idea
of how these organisations work
The best way to discover how an organisation really works is to
contact that company in person
Prepare a well organised set of notes to do well in this subject
Forming Groups
What do you think it takes to make a good group?
Good communication and involvement of all group members
Regular group meetings discussing allocated readings
(Recommended to meet at least 1 hour a week with group)
