Answer:
The goal of advocacy efforts by professional organizations is to educate the members
and all professional nurses, encouraging energetic participation in helping the
profession improve and move to higher levels. Professional nursing organizations
continually provides nurses with education opportunities so that nurses can keep
focusing on their professional development. ANA is the most well-known national
organization that supports the nursing field and provide a variety of online resources for
members. By joining this organization, nurses can broaden their knowledge and
perspectives about nursing practice because they can keep up with the recent issues
and in the nursing field as well as having connections with other nursing professionals.
In a sociopolitical perspective, being a member of this organization can have
advantages such as forming a group in order to speak out important issues related to
their work.

I believe education is the most important factor when it comes to our professional
development. It enables us to incorporate all our experience of nursing practice and
research-based knowledge. Through participating in professional nursing organizations
that offer education, we can expand our scope of knowledge. For the career
development, we can utilize an array of benefits of professional nursing associations; for
example, access to online academic journals or more local information are a great help
for those who continually want to develop expertise.
