1.0 Executive Summary
Educational leader’s style plays a fundamental role in influencing the environment, approach and
status of the institutions. The leaders are the keystone on which basis learning communities
operates and cultivate. With effective educational leadership, institutions can become active
learning incubators, where students are not only polished but tested, fostered and stimulated. The
Asian Educational institutes needed the transformational leaders who understand the importance
of building communities, willing to adopt the new strategies and skills of learning, there is a need
for full utilization of the resources. The needed leadership style must have a clear vision and plan
for successfully executed to become more excel in the field of education across the world.
2.0 Literature Review
The literature presented that there are four main categories of the commencing styles of leaders
which are autocratic, Person-focused Style, Transformational leadership style and Lassie-Faire
Style.
According to Wang, Liu, & Liu authoritarian leadership style destruct employee performance by
considering four typical behaviour of the leaders includes authoritarian leaders strive to sustain
strict hierarchy, reluctance to disseminate knowledge with employees, and commence a top-
down style of communication.
