1.1 Introduction to the leader:
Karl Lagerfeld, was the creative director of renowned brand Chanel, had impressive
signature style offered to the fashion industry which became a benchmark for the
industry. He is best known for his innovative leadership and modern approach for revival
of brand Chanel, the well-known French fashion house originated by Coco Chanel in the
early 20th century. KARL LAGERFELD’s style collection varies from daily
workplace wear accessories to iconic statement cocktail dresses for evening
occasions. The German fashion designer led Chanel, Fendi, and his eponymous
brand (Larabee, 2019).
1.2 Company profile:
CHANEL is a French fashion house and a global business for extravagance-goods
consumers, prepared as an international matrix structure on three categories, across
three sections. The categories are (i) Fashion, (ii) Watches & fine jewellery, and (iii)
Fragrances & Beauty. Their brand strategy is defined as, the products they build-up, and
the communication instruments used by the company.
The Chanel brand is working in more than 110 countries around the world with 20,197
human resource assets. The business is run by owner Alain Wertheimer's family,
