INSTRUCTIONS
• Aim to answer ALL the questions in this examination paper.
• It is compulsory to answer ALL the questions in this examination
paper.
• Submit your compulsory declaration with your examination
answers; if you fail to include this declaration, you will obtain zero
for the examination. Refer to Additional Resources on myUnisa
for more details and/or to download the declaration in Word
format. You continue typing your answers after the declaration.
• Submissions via e-mail will NOT be accepted.
• Monitor the time limits for the examination and submit the examination on
the portal at least 30 minutes before the portal closes.
• Late submissions will NOT be considered.
• Should you need to e-mail the lecturer during the examination about
any technical issues experienced, ONLY use your myLife e-mail
account to do so. We will NOT respond to communication received from
any other e-mail addresses.
• This examination paper consists of four paragraph/essay questions. You
MUST answer ALL the questions in this examination paper.

,• Write your answers for all the questions in the answer book of your
choice, that is, either as a Word document or hand-written document.
• However, whichever format you use, you must convert your
answers and the declaration into a single PDF file before
submitting it. Save your completed examination paper in PDF
only. No other formats will be accepted.
• Number each answered question EXACTLY as it appears in the
examination paper.
• Read the scenario provided for every question carefully before
attempting to answer the questions.
• Do NOT rewrite text from scenario – you will be penalised for this. You
need to use your own words to articulate your responses to the
examination questions.
To submit your examination paper:
1. Go to myExams https://myexams.unisa.ac.za/portal and login
with your myUnisa credentials (your student number and
password).
2. Click on the name of the specific examination site through the
site tabs on the horizontal navigation bar.
3. Click on the eAssessment tool in the left-navigation menu. Once
the eAssessment page has loaded, select the assessment for
which you want to upload the examination answer file by clicking
on the link under the heading "Assignment Title".
4. A new page will open. Scroll down to Submission. Make sure
that ALL your pages are converted into a single PDF document
for uploading.
5. Under Attachments, click on the Choose File button to browse for
a file on your device. Once you have attached your answer file,
the name of the file, as well as the file size and upload time
stamp will be displayed under Attachments.
6. Remember to click the Honour Pledge before submission if it
appears on the screen. You will not be able to submit the
assessment if the checkbox is not ticked.
7. When you are ready and satisfied that you have the correct
answer file, click the Submit button to complete your assessment
submission.
