EXPOSITORY ESSAY: HEALTHY LIVING Our health is one of the most factors that dictates how we live life. When one is heathy their productivity is increased and they are able to actively engage in day-t o-day activities. With good one is able to live longer and enjoy life more. However, when one does not take care of themselves as they should, they are bound to form health conditions such as obesity. Obesity is a health condition that is caused by availability of excess fats in our bodies. Obesity is a lifestyle disease meaning that there are ways and habits that can be implemented in the lifestyle of an individual so that the health problem is avoided from taking place. The health problem can be avoided by, frequent exercising, following a healthy diet and getting enough sleep. When our bodies are not in motion, they tend to accumulate more fats in the tissues. When tissues are filled with fats, the body starts to grow bigger and this causes obesity. Through regular exercises such as aerobics, the body burns down the fats and this causes the body to remain well structured and obesity is avoided. Because most of the people complain that they do not have enough time to exercise, they could incorporate other activities like walking instead of taking the car, or even using the stairs as this will make the body loose excess fats and this promotes healthy lifestyle. When this is done, the health problem can be avoided. Our bodies are composed of the things that we constantly eat, and therefore, it is important to adapt a lifestyle of following a healthy diet. A healthy diet comprises eating clean that have less sugar and fats; which are the main causes of obesity. To make this possible, people should avoid eating deep fried foods like fries as well avoiding sweets and junk that has high levels of sugar. To eat a clean diet, people should incorporate vegetable, fruits and home cooked meals in their diets. By doing this, they will avoid getting obese and hence protecting their health for the future. When our bodies are not in the optimal functioning condition, it is possible to develop lifestyle problems like obesity. Lack of sleep has been reported to be remedy of obesity and therefore, people should make sure that they get the required amount of sleep in a day. Tired bodies are not able to breakdown excess fats into energy and these fats end up in the tissues and this leads to obesity. When the body is well rested, all the functions are at optimal and it will become hard for someone to get obese. Therefore, enough sleep should not be overlooked as it helps in avoiding health problems in the future. Conclusively, there are many lifestyle choices that can be incorporated in daily living to ensure that make a difference in the future of our health. In order to avoid obesity, people are encouraged to; exercise more, incorporate healthy diet, and get enough sleep. It is clear that all decisions we make for our bodies have impact for our health either long term or short term. Obesity is a condition that can be avoided when we make the right decisions for our bodies each and every day. When obesity is controlled, other conditions like heart diseases are also controlled. Therefore, even tough there are medical procedures that can revert obesity it is better to prevent the condition than to treat it. People should therefore be encouraged to lead healthy lifestyles for the benefit of their health in the future. Show Less
