As people in the medical field, we were also caught off guard but with information from the World Health Organization, we have been able to learn a lot about the virus and we since vaccines have been created and we will be dealing with the situation a day at a time. The Covid-19 virus mostly affects the respiratory system of a human being and it has been reported that older people are prone to the virus because of their weak immune system. Despite of this, we have reported a lot recoveries and we hope to see the number increase. At Dar Alshiifa, we have dedicated our time and resources to ensure that all Covid-19 patients are well taken care of and they are taking the medications that will hep them recover. We have invested in incubation room where the patients are taken and we have also increased our ICU beds as we are determined all patients lead to full recovery and can unite with their families. We have also been on the fore front to make sure that we have educated masses on how they can protect themselves from contracting the virus as well as suppling sanitizers to communities around us. So far, we have a higher recovery rate and we hope that are positive cases are going to raise the figures. Three days ago, we admitted a patient by the name Ali Manal who is sixty years old, and unfortunately his Covid results came out positive. The patient reported to have a long-term heart disease, along with high blood pressure. When he came in, he was immediately admitted to the ICU but as of today around 12 noon it was reported that he had succumbed to covid-19 and he lost his life.
