This video highlights a number of issues and concerns that are a good example of a poorly executed
CSR by Boeing. Firstly, I begin with the main goal of Boeing. As a good company which follows the
CSR rules, Boeing should have a responsibility towards the society to provide its product (airplanes)
of good quality whereby people’s safety is at the biggest concern. But on the contrary, that is not the
case. As is the video is mentioned, the biggest goal for Boeing is to run the business for cash, in order
to cut costs and maximise wall street returns. They don’t care about the wellbeing of the passengers
who are going to fly in those airplanes. As they also mentioned: “We are not building them to fly, we
are building them to sell”.
