I have analyzed the relationship between academic integrity and writing, as well as the
relationship between professional practices and scholarly ethics. I have also identified strategies I
intend to pursue to maintain integrity and ethics of my academic work while a student of the
MSN program, as well as my professional work as a nurse throughout my career. The results of
these efforts are shared below.

Academic integrity is described as the frequency with which individuals are truthful, and
it is demonstrated in all facets of academic life. Academic integrity violations make it more
difficult for pupils to obtain the necessary knowledge for a successful academic outcome.
Academic dishonesty is most frequently associated with plagiarism and academic forgery.
Plagiarism and academic forgeries are deemed unacceptable in an academic setting. Academic
integrity and writing are intrinsically linked in the nursing profession. Academic ethics
recognizes that any individual is capable of demonstrating moral ethics in written work by
acknowledging the work of other scholars. Integrity is regarded as the most critical aspect of
writing since it demonstrates several critical characteristics of academic intellectuality (McHaney
et al., 2015). To maintain academic integrity while writing a project or essay, it is critical to
avoid plagiarism in order to provide authentic and unique work. It is critical to acknowledge the
work of other scholars when mentioning their work.
