use the language. Only when the grammar is proper, do the sentence make sense. All communication,
whether written or spoken, depends on an agreed upon grammar. Without grammar these can be no
communication. People assume that correct grammar has no actual importance in daily life which is not
true. Grammar irrespective of any country or language, is the basis of communication. It is significant to
successful convey one’s thought, but communication should be easy to understand.
When we try to learn another language, grammar lessons are supposed to be a shortcut to learning
the pattern of the language. Speaking English with proper knowledge of grammar will make it hard for
anyone to convey his/her feeling and also, for the person to understand them.
But the method of studying grammar can very a lot, from enjoyable., natural ways extremely boring
classroom and textbook techniques. Grammar is often taught in such a boring, mechanical way, that the
learner gets confused and frustrated. Teachers don’t have to explain much about grammar to speak
correctly. Basically if student are trying to say something in English and get too hung up on the rules,
then they’ll never have the courage to use the language. It’s much better for them to try something out,
get it right or wrong and then have it correctly modelled to them. The grammar the actual nuts and bolts
of the language, comes later.
We all learn the grammar of our mother tongue in a natural way in childhood by just using the
language. Adult speakers correct us when we make a grammar mistake, we naturally repeat the correct
pattern . Our human brains figure out the grammar of our language even in childhood. In a few years,
we speak our mother tongue fluently
Teachers should teach learners first and foremost to be comfortable with language and when they
are, they start to talk about a grammar. Teachers should develop students skills in reading, writing,
speaking and listening evenly, studying just one aspect of language will make it monotonous and more
difficult
Conclusion: I guess the most important thing is to able to communicate, The catch is that to
communicate one need to know grammar. As soon as there is a subject and a verb in a sentence there’s
grammar . Grammar is indispensable for clear communication. The more grammar you know, the more
choices you have to express yourself concisely. But in beginning teachers just need to teach the basics
and pay more attention to speak. Don’t make grammar a priority skip it and come back it to later. After
student gaining confidence to speak using phrasal verbs, idioms, chunks etc. Then teachers will start all
the grammatical rules will fall into place
