Severe deviant behavior has been found in most cases to have originated from childhood upbringings. This has been a phenomenon which was observed in many adults who grew up to commit horrific and gruesome crimes. Psychopaths have been often found to have suffered from childhood abuses. Many people suffering from anti-social behavior have often been found to have lack of empathy which they lost due to child abuse. But we have distinct and more regrettable cases of children committing crimes. Children indulging in crimes show that social control has had a breakdown. The norm of having a prejudice that children minds are innocent is under threat.
