Changed How We Relate to One Another
The world wide web (www) or as popularly termed Internet has revolutionized our world since its birth in mid 1980s. In early 1990s came the email, messaging services and then video telephony. Late 1990s saw the birth of social media networks as an extension or enrichment of features already available on Internet. Many social networks became popular and many became obsolete. The nature of social networks also changed with introduction of new varieties of social networks including over Apps. The underlying function of social networking technologies did not change. Technology was seeking to make it easier to do social networking. There is an alternate opinion that technology was replacing “real” social networking which human species had developed over time.
