I am writing you this letter, because I would like to apply for the post of a kitchen staff member at
your Food Assembly restaurant, which is currently being advertised in Wasp Reporter. This job would
be a perfect opportunity for me to gain new experience and at the same time prove my worth. As
requested, I am enclosing a completed job application, my certification and three references.
My name is Marja van der Wind. I am a seventeen-year-old girl and live in the Netherlands. I am in
high school, but I would like to work in the United Kingdom after my exams in May. I think it would
be a great opportunity to work in your company. My future is still open, so I wish to lay a foundation
for my future while working in your company.
I have worked at a restaurant for a couple of years, so I have some experience as a bar-tender and I
expect to fit in your company, because I like to interact with people who have different backgrounds
and interests. I see myself as a responsible person, because I find it important that people stick to
their commitments and people say I am a hard worker, because I never miss the deadlines.
I wish to build my career and I am ready to face more responsibilities after having worked in your
organisation for a while. I see myself as someone who is keen to learn new things, because I have a
broad interest. In conclusion, I am very suitable for this post of an intern.
I will be available from May 18th, 2018. I do not like to work on Sundays, but I am amenable to work
in evening hours and on Saturdays. Please let me know if you can employ me. Should you have any
