Section A: Digital Divide Digital divide is when there is unfairly distribution of access to Internet and commuction information and technology due to demographics and regions issues. In my understanding and observation there is lot of digital divide where some people are disadvantaged to be able to access internet and advanced technology. Here is list of factors that I would like to address concerning this issue:  Access to resources: WIFI, good connectivity and smartphones limit some people to have access to this technology and internet. You find some lives where there is poor connection as much, they must have data must the poor connection still limit them. So, the State must WIFIs in places like schools, parks, bus stops or where mostly people are.  Social life and geographical: Most people who are in rural areas are always disadvantages because of digital divide .You find children as they go to tertiary level cannot use computers because of digital divide and there is poor connection also can’t get access to Internet. I think the government must provide computers for students and provide good infrastructures so that they can good connection.  Even though on the discussion no one commented my assignment I have been studying more about the topic and it have been improved my knowledge about the topic, so these are some of the additional factors:  Ethnicity and language: Different ethnic groups act differently towards technology depending on their background and beliefs as some do not see the importance of computers and the internet. With English being commonly used as a median for communication on platforms such as television, radio, website content this leads to confusion and misunderstanding. The State might provide schools, universities and clinics with latest computers to better their lives but still they get stolen. They should make sure that their device is ensured and put tight security.  Disabilities: People who are disabled are not given opportunity to take part in a lot of programmers and most of the ICT projects have not created resources to accommodate them also ,so the programmers must be fair and be able to help whoever person who is in need.
