My religious beliefs were inherited from my mother and maternal grandparents. 2. Although my father is of Tamil religion and heritage, my parents decided that my sister and I would be taught Christianity. 3. My maternal grandparents were Telegu and Tamil respectively. My maternal grandmother’s family were moved into Christianity by a European family that they worked for on the sugar cane fields. 4. As a result of this religious conversion, my grandparents and my mother’s siblings practiced Christianity.
