By the end of the course, the student will be better able to…
Listen to English dialogue and conversation, understanding the meaning of
the words he is listening. He will be able to speak and to have a fluent
conversation and to pronounce English words accurately.
These skills will improve the possibility for him to enhance his career,
developing new abilities that will be essential to progress in his work as well
as in the dialogue with his friends so that, it will be more pleasant for him to
conversate with them.
He likes to watch movies and to travel, and after the completion of the
course he will be able to enjoy more his hobbies, feeling free to express
himself and to have a correct understand of the words.
Course Rationale: (700 – 1000 words)
The teacher has the responsibility to choose the right syllabus to assure that
the lesson aims are met and that Alberto will be able to reach his goals.
I decided to use a multi-syllabus lesson plan because it is an effective
strategy for Alberto to improve his English skills and consequently earn the
possibility to get a better job as well as being able to conversate in English for
personal purposes, like travel and in social context.
The student would like to learn through authentic materials and he
expressed his preference for the topic of the environment, science,
technology and current affairs.
A lesson that uses a multi-syllabus method will allow me to use a
combination of different platforms and keep Alberto engaged and interested
in the course.
