, WHAT IS PPE
PPE: The term PPE means "personal protection equipment"
which covers any item intended for wearing or carrying by
the worker with the aim of protecting him from one or more
risks likely to cause injury or jeopardize health while at
work, in addition to any item or accessory having the same
purpose. The PPE must afford
a) adequate protection against the risks it must protect
from, without itself creating a greater risk.
b) Be suitable for the existing workplace conditions.
c) Allow for the workers’ ergonomic and health
requirements
