It introduces the topic and the problems related to it. Further, it presents the primary research questions and the methodology to obtain results in the study. It also includes subsequent research problems derived from a study, and a clear secondary research question. The proposal aims to cover all aspects of the study. This includes a methodology that creates a feasible project, sample size, sampling approach, schedule and a set of limitations to the study. The limitations are discussed in depth, and it also includes a short summary of what factors were not accounted for in the study. As Ozlen (2014) explained, the political, technological and sociological changes in society provide for a revolution within the human resource field (p. 1). Tax cuts, immigration laws, demographical changes, social media exposure, increased efficiency and changing attitudes within the society all affect and shake up the traditional views we have. Khanka (2007) argued that these external forces are inevitable in the human resource field (p.5). In choosing an appropriate topic for a research proposal, it is always important to consider something that one finds interesting themselves.
