Chairperson
Introduction
- Good morning everyone, if I could have your attention, please.
- First of all, I would like to welcome you all here today.
- And thank you for that.
- I would like to introduce myself, my name is Isabella, and I will be chairperson for this
meeting.
- Would you like to introduce yourself?
- Since this is are first and last meeting, do you all have any vacations planned for upcoming
weeks even though the COVID-19 circumstances.
- Let’s start with the topic of our meeting.
Topic and agenda
- Todays’ meeting is about the episode of ‘The Apprentice’.
- We have all seen the episode of ‘the apprentice’. The Episode was about a competition
between two teams, Eclipse and Stealth. The teams got the task to make the best profit with
their coffee-stands and vans.
- We are here today to discuss both teams and how they operated. The result of our
discussion will give a good sight on what advice we should give the teams to what they
should have done to be successful.
Covering all topics
- Let’s start with discussing the total operation of team Stealth & Eclipse before discussing
what they could have done better.
o Where should the teams have sold their coffee instead?
o What do you think they could have done better in their process?
o Who would be the most profitable customer group?
o What skills does the team need in order to perform this task?
o Analysis of the budget, revenue and profit of the teams.
o Formulate your advice for success in a few powerful sentences.
Stealth (Andy & women)
Sophie wanted to buy coffee-grounds for 1000cups and 250L milk, 7:00-17:00 = 10h
Andy wanted to cut down to 700cups and 20L milk
Sophie still bought 65L milk + 400 snacks
Van at Chapel market not crowded and many cheaper shops & stores
sold coffee for 1,50 per cup needed to lower down
Gerri calls Andy after 2 hours, only sold 11 cups (why not earlier) They had to come back
Gerri arguing with Andy (not structured communication)
Gerri was searching for a new location for the van, but Andy called her back to sell at the same
location with to stands.
2 PM still busy with many customers, but too much stock
Selling stock very cheap (milk for 50pence)
Eclipse (Jadine & men)
They bought the wrong coffee-grounds so they sold it on the counter
Van at Islingtons mainstreet, with Starbucks + 15 competitors (selling good)
Simon and Trey had to change location because Jadine said so
Now stuck on a “red route”, only available for 20minutes
