M1- Compare the qualities, characteristics and roles of 2 different successful sports leaders from
the present.
A good sports leader masters different qualities and roles which determine their leadership style.
Sporting activities are categorised differently for example basketball and athletics. This is because
they are two different categories which are performed differently therefore the participants have
inspiration when it comes to winning. In this essay, I will be contrasting different factors that a good
leader should adapt to in order to motivate their participants. I will be looking at Jose Mourinho and
Toni Minichiello for team sports and compare their role, qualities and characteristics. Jose Mourinho
is a professional Portuguese football leader and a former player. Toni Minichiello is a British athletic
