For the computer viruses the schools can install virus detection and removal program such as antivirus program like Avast or Norton Antivirus. For the Unauthorized Access and Use the school can have a security system called a firewall which prevents unauthorized access to data and information on a network in order to safeguard their equipment To safeguard their equipment from Hardware Theft and Vandalism the school can install a security system as well as install additional physical security devices such as cables that lock the equipment to a desk, cabinet, or floor. Schools also install deadbolt locks and alarm systems to protect the equipment in their computer labs. To safeguard their equipment from Information Theft the school can implement Personal identification number, which is a additional level of security. To safeguard their equipment from System Failure the school can either ensure that a power surge protector is installed or if they require additional safeguarding, Backup their data to an external device or an off-site sever.
