Abstract
The coronavirus pandemic has overturned the United States and the world. This
pandemic has negatively affected humanity, interrupting lives, and occupations. The measure
and severity of COVID-19 are unmatched. Everything is affected, from social to economic
activities. The way we live, relate to each other, work, communicate, and travel. All our life
aspects have been impacted. Also, with this pandemic, many people have lost their loved ones,
their jobs, and others have suffered mentally due to anxiety loneliness brought by this pandemic.
The pandemic. This is the biggest encounter the world and America have to fight for the safety
of its people. This pandemic has shown us the imbalances present in the healthcare system and
the nation at large. This paper will look at the impact of this pandemic on the minorities in the
US, the rise in mental health issues, and unemployment rates during the pandemic period. This
paper will also discuss how poor governance in America led to many deaths related to Covid-19.
Finally, we will discuss how face masks play an important role in minimizing the coronavirus's
spread.
