MATH 533 Course project part C Report Summary
MATH 533 Course project part C Report Summary The scatterplot shows that there’s positive linear relationship between credit balance and size of family which means the credit balance trend to increase with increasing in the size of family. We could predict credit balance using linear model that included size of family. In order to improve the model efficiency in predicting credit balance, we add income and number of years in current location. After testing the multiple regression model, the model is more useful. However, statistical evidence suggested that we should discard number of yeas in current location. Therefore, we improve the multiple regression model again and have sufficient statistical evidence that the multiple regression model which included income and size of family is more useful. Appendix 1. Generate a scatterplot for Credit Balance vs. Size (of family), including the graph of the "best fit" line. Interpret. Scatterplot : This study source was downloaded by from CourseH on :06:06 GMT -06:00 Interpret : The graph shows that there’s positive linear relationship between credit balance and size of family. The credit balance trend to increase with increasing in the size of family. 2. Determine the equation of the "best fit" line, which describes the relationship between Credit Balance and Size of family. The equation of the “best fit” line : CREDIT BALANCE($) = 2595.02 +
