2.1 development stages for Sarah and John is school age, they both in intermediate
class doing grade 5 and 6, Sarah is more into friends, she enjoys spending time with
her girlfriends and on the other hand John is becoming his own person, he is now
making his own decisions and does not respect his curfew and comes home late.

Physical development- this is the stage were children grow, their body start
changing and developing depending on their age. toddlers grow teeth,
teenagers grow puberty hair
Cognitive development-in this stage children start changing how they think
and see things, they start experimenting with a lot of things, they are curious
and start exploring things
Emotional development- they start understanding situations and how certain
situations make them feel and react
Social development-they now aware of what is happening in social media,
they start interacting with people, they grow their own space they start
socialising with friends and less with family
2.3 I have learned that Sarah and John are growing and developing as they grow,
with Sarah I see a social development as stated on the extract She enjoys
spending time with her girlfriends and is often in trouble, because she does
not have enough time to do her household chores, like helping with cooking
and cleaning. Sarah show some Emotional development, she supress her
emotional reaction when her brother John enjoys making fun of her by telling
her that she looks like a “giant aunty”, because she is bigger than him. Sarah
tries her best not to show John that she gets angry with him when he makes
