Laboratory safety training will be provided to students on Friday July 10, 2015 at 10 am – 12 pm. All students taking courses that include labs are advice to participate. At the end of participation, students will take test to authenticate their comprehension of the training. The following are questions meant to authenticate safety training comprehension. Students can glance through this document prior to Friday’s open lab training and be prepared to answer the listed questions after the training. A signed copy of this document will be collected at the end of training and kept on file as evidence of a student’s participation. PART A LABORATORY SAFETY ASSIGNMENT – This part should be completed after viewing the slides created for laboratory work at DeVry University AND Chamberlain College of Nursing. All answers should be written in complete sentences using correct grammar and syntax. 1) What types of protection should be used in the laboratory when there is a potential for aerosol production?
