The human nervous system is made up of the spinal cord, brain and nerves.
The brain and the spinal cord make up the central nervous system while the
nerves make up the peripheral nervous system.
Nerves are specialized cells made up of neurons which carry electrical
impulses around the body.
Nerve impulses are what carries information along neurones. They are also
called action potentials and changes are due to the difference in charges on
the inside and outside of a neuron.
