Introduction
Sexual violation acts are a widespread violation of the rights of students in learning
institutions and society. There is statistical data that shows students under the influence of drugs
and substances harassing others and engaging them in committing sexual assaults. The concept
of sexual was put into the plan in the year 1970s by activists and writers to address how women
were involved in sexual harassment without their consent. The issue in later years gained
popularity and is developed to be both gender issues after men also fell victim to and were
violated sexually. Organizations and independent agencies that fight for human rights from
different countries developed strategies and policies that were addressed internationally to
address women's violence.
The institutions have set deficient policies that govern the addressing of bullying in the
school environment. The set rules are not adjustable to the school system, and sexual bullying
continues to be a threat that needs to be addressed among school-going individuals. The plan
fails to address and explore power and privileges, and some are left to be subjected to others and
end up in harassment. The UK conducted consultations regarding sexual violations in schools. It
found that sexual assaults for girls were allowed as a public practice in society, and mentors had
accepted it as part of the curriculum and a day-to-day activity among students. (Women and
Equalities Committee, 2016). When institutions fail to lay rules and policies that condemn these
acts, it shows that the harassment will continue, and there is a gap in the society to address the
issue. When students report acts of sexual harassment to the relevant authority, and the victims
end up unpunished, this shows both the victim and the culprit that the school's institution and the
management agree to such kind of behaviors and practices. (Meyer, 2008).

In society and the institution of learning, the cases reported of boys harassments against girls
harassment indicate that majority of those who are harassed are girls.
Sexual Harassment and Violence
Girls are exposed to and experience the most severe and frequent forms of harassment
compared to the boys; this behavior creates a very hostile environment for girls. Seventy-five
percent of the girl in the UK and teenage girls experiences fear about the possibility of
experiencing violation through sexual practices affecting them in various ways. The places they
travel and in the middle of the people they reside with possess them in danger of harassment.
Sexual harassment comes in different forms, where one can be physically harassed or engaged in
intrusive acts. Culprits of harassment engage themselves in acts of domination and plan to
humiliate a person. Verbal harassment is the most common form of sexual harassment in higher
learning institutions. Students pose jokes and comments against each other, which reduces how
others feel and how others will be treating you. Gesturing is another form of harassment where
one can be engaged in a sexualized gesture that indicates the intimacy to be used as sex objects.
The newest form of records of harassment has developed in society from the growth of
technology and the media network. People currently use these platforms to spread sexual rumors
or sexually explicit images (Perez-Andre & Magalhaes, 2015).
In the year 2018, a survey was conducted regarding the health of students nationally. In
Norway, the higher education population was 50 054 students who carried their study full-time,
ranging from eighteen to thirty-five years. The study reported that 24.2% had undergone lifetime
sexual harassment. In this, women who had been harassed were 31.1%, and men were 8%. The
study further indicated on the people who had previously been harassed in their past years, and
the study showed that 16.7% of the population had been harassed in their past, in which women
