This week we explore how leaders can make a difference. We need to
understand the nature of leadership, not only from a top management
perspective but also from a perspective that embraces the leadership that occurs
at all levels across the organisation.

Before starting this module, take this opportunity to answer the following
questions related to the learning objectives:
What is leadership, and how is it different from management?
What are the qualities of a great leader? Is one born with this or can we
train new leaders?
In your life, have you been able to identify different types of leaders?
How do you distinguish between their styles?
The reason I'm asking you to complete these BEFORE you start is so that you
have an opportunity to check your current understanding of OB, and to reflect
on your progress in learning at the end of the module. You will be expected to
share your understandings in the workshop.
