Syllabus: NUR2502 Section BMPC1A0Z Multidimensional Care III (11 Weeks) - Residential and Online - 2021 Summer Quarter Total Credits: 6 Lecture: 3 (30 hours), Clinical: 3 (90 hours) Instructor: Casey Kelly Office Hours: Fridays directly after lecture Office Phone: Rasmussen email: Instructor Notes: Please note that instructors have 48 hours to return emails and voicemails per Rasmussen policy When emailing your instructor please always include the course number and section number in the subject line Course Description Students explore diverse multidimensional strategies for nursing practice specific to reproductive, respiratory, cardiovascular, hematologic, and urinary system disorders. The clinical component provides students with opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in healthcare settings. Pre or Co-Requisites Prerequisites: NUR2392 Multidimensional Care II; NUR2474 Pharmacology for Professional Nursing The following course competencies have been developed to facilitate the achievement of the end-of-program student learning outcomes. Refer to the School of Nursing Student Handbook for a complete list of end-ofprogram Student Learning Outcomes. Didactic Course Competencies By the end of this course, students will: 1. Identify multidimensional nursing care strategies for clients with reproductive system disorders. 2. Determine appropriate multidimensional nursing interventions for clients with disorders of the urinary system. 3. Course Requirements This is an 11-week course. Each week, students will be required to complete a set of assignments. All assignments are listed in the course schedule by week; specific due dates can be found in the Course Calendar.
