General and Molecular Biology
To relate the concepts of cellular and molecular biology; to visualize what a cell performs during its life The students who succeeded in this course; 1-) Identify basic structures within the cell, 2-) Explain how genetic information is read and conveyed, 3-) Explain the energy mechanisms of the cell, 4-) Describe protein structures, 5-) Describe the genomic architecture, 6-) Discuss DNA damage and the relevant repeair mechanisms, 7-) Identify membrane structures and important mechanisms in membrane transport.
