Tone and Symbology in The Passing of Time
This essay was written for the final project of the class. It analyzes the elements of tone and symbolism in the poems "Nothing Gold Can Stay" by Robert Frost and "After a Great Pain, a Formal Feeling Comes" by Emily Dickinson. Each example is provided within the context of the overarching theme of both poems: the passing of time. The citations are in MLA 8 format.
