BILL OF RIGHTS
First 10 amendments in US constitution are known as – ‘Bill of Rights.’
It was created to protect the rights of the people.
It was a law in Virginia and it was named as Bill of Rights.
Constitution can be amended by a majority of 2/3 of House of Representatives
and 2/3 of Senate.
The Virginian document later on, became the part of US constitution.

Summary & Explanation
Amendment 1:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion (related to any
religion, that makes the country a ‘secular’ state), or prohibiting the free exercise
‘thereof’; (referring to religion) or abridging the freedom of speech (cannot
restrict), or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble
(protest, NGO, political party), and to petition the Government for a redress of
grievances (people have the right, if their rights aren’t protected, to file and
petition the government for a redressal ‘resolve my issue’ of the grievances, if
rights effected, government and the one who infringes the rights are made party)

Amendment 2:
A well regulated Militia (civilians ‘male’ armed men used to take them and train
them, used for security purposes cos US had less armed force, they were given
remuneration, not part of army), being necessary to the security of a free State,
the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed (to secure
the state, for self-defense, the US people have the right to possess arms, carry
them)

Amendment 3:
No Soldier shall, in time of peace (no war, no fight) be quartered (enter, reside) in
any house, without the consent of the owner (house owner), nor in time of war,
but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

Right of Privacy, in USA, soldiers used to enter the houses, they said that we have
the right to enter, interfere in anyone’s property. Property is protected. In UK, the
army said that we are troops,we belong to the crown, we have the right to enter
the houses.
