Your Answer: In my opinion, learning and biological theories have some distinct similarities as well as differences between them. They both suggest that experiences and environmental factors shape the development of a person. Learning theories believe that one can manipulate an environment and train a child to do just about anything. This concept of behaviorism is similar to the biological theory that our environments are manipulated by our heredity, and in the end, can influence the development of a person. The two differ in the beliefs of how a person behaves the way they do. Biological theories state that genetic make-up determines our personality traits, which leads to those behaviors and interactions we have with others. Learning theories believe that a person can condition themselves to behave a certain way or to react to certain stimuli. Overall no two theories are exactly the same with their beliefs, but I believe these two theories mentioned in this paper are similar. Show Less
