However, I decided not to listen to others and put my focus on passing this course successfully. We started off on promoting evidence-based practice to promoting healthcare practice. I am asking colleagues on their take on evidence based practice and what evidence based practice would be appropriate to reduce the current high falls rate we are experiencing at our facility. Most of them are recommending Hourly/Purposeful rounding to help end this problem and I agree with them totally. It has always been my desire to write on this topic, however, a lot more research needs to be done on this topic to be sure it is the right solution to my identified problem. I am deciding to use an accredited websites or sources to get my information on falls and hourly/purposeful rounding because I want the information presented in my article to be as accurate as possible.
