Introduction
Throughout these past three years, juggling a job, family and being a full-time student has
created a new insight on how important education is in professional nursing. Not only is
education important for the future of nursing, it also develops a skill that helps patients connect
with healthcare service especially when patients do not understand the disease process. My
personal portfolio will include 10 of the great works completed since beginning this program,
how all of Chamberlain University’s program outcomes (PO) were revealed, The Essentials of
Master’s Education (MSN Essentials), and the National Organization of the Nurse Practitioner
Faculties (NONPF) Core Competencies have been met.
