The scenario made me nervous because I wasn’t sure what type of oxygen therapy he
required. I was also unsure about oxygen being applied first or albuterol. I decided to go
with oxygen because of ABCs. Overall, the scenario was helpful and exposed me on what
to do during a patient having an allergic reaction.

cardiac rhythm. I would ensure to explain the situation as thoroughly and truthfully as
possible while remaining calm and confident.
