Opening Questions How did the simulated experience of Junetta Cooper’s case make you feel? • It was exciting to be doing a SIM in real time and it put more pressure on thinking fast which made us forget a few steps. Tell me the actions you felt went well within this scenario. • I feel that I had good communication with the patient and felt comfortable asking questions Reflecting on Junetta Cooper’s case, were there any actions you would do differently if you were to repeat this scenario? If so, how would your patient care change? • I forget to read the parameters for the medicatinos so I will be sure to do this in the next sim. I know better but it was difficult seeing the orders on the board with everything going on rather than in a quiet Pyxis room with no distractions.
