Diagnosis: colon mass, rule out bowel obstruction Tues 0130 Promethazine 12.5 – 25 mg IV every 4-5 hours prn nausea Acetaminophen 650 mg per rectum every 6 hours prn fever 102 F Labs: Hemoglobin and Hematocrit Chem 7 PT/INR Type and crossmatch for 2 units Diet: NPO Vital signs every 4 hours Intake and Output every 8 hours Oxygen 2L flow by nasal cannula Telemetry monitor Activity: bedrest with bathroom privileges Nasogastric tube to low continuous suction Foley catheter to gravity drainage Mineral oil enema
