Transportation is becoming a word wide issue. It leads to many challenges not economically and
financially but also for social and environment issues. People owned cars are congesting the road
and environments. Over transportation in any society may leads to massive problems like road
blockage, traffic jam, road accidents, air pollution, noise pollution and also the emission from the
traffic directly leads to ozone depletion and indirectly to global warming and climate change. We
must ban the local cars and Lorries to enter into our town centers. By banning them we can get
large benefits for its people, community and also environments. The traffic issues on our roads
and commercial markets will become very less, if we ban the cars and Lorries. It will benefit
both the buyers and the sellers. We can build parking lots near the town center so that car and
Lorries owners may park their vehicles and then enter to the town centers by walk. It will give a
pleasant and aesthetic environment for the pedestrians, local shopkeepers and inhabitants of the
town centers. Traffic management measures, promoting public transportation, encourage walking
and promoting the use of bicycle are also few recommendations in order to give our town an
aesthetic surroundings. Another thing that can make our town more attractive is plantation of
more and more trees. We should campaign about tree plantation and make different seminars at
community centers to aware people about the local issues of the town. By planting noise
absorbing plants alongside the roads of the town, we can reduce noise and air pollution in our
town and make it more attractive. I suggest that we should make our town centers sustainable
rather than just economic. Sustainable town centers can make our people healthier, happier and
economical.
