• Hard water does not produce lather readily with soap.

calcium & magnesium.

• It is not suitable for cooking.

Soft Water
• Soft water produces lather readily with soap.
• It does not contain dissolved impurities such as bicarbonates,chlorides or sulphates of
calcium & magnesium.
• No wastage of soap with soft water.
• It does not cause undesired stains in clothes suitable for textile industry.
• It is suitable for cooking purpose.No bad taste to cooked items.
• It is not harmful to steam boilers used in industry.No boiler scales
