Introduction
Throughout the world there are many religions that have different views about healthcare.
Each religion has its own beliefs and how those beliefs guide those individuals view that the
meaning of life is. Also, the healthcare industry treats and see people from all backgrounds and
cultures about healthcare. Usually, religions don’t cross paths in countries where is one single
religion, however, healthcare providers will encounter patients that have different beliefs that

conflict with their own. Many patients from different religions than the healthcare provider may
complain that religious beliefs are not considered because healthcare providers are trained to take
care of the patient through the practice of medicine. In addition, religious individuals count on
their religious beliefs to help them make important decision in their live and this includes
medical care. The spiritual aspect is important to a patient’s recovery because it allows the
patient to practice their spiritual beliefs while recovering and to provide them comfort during a
stressful period in their life. Additionally, having open communication between the patient and
healthcare professional is essential so the patient can receive, and the healthcare professional can
provide that best possible care available. Islam and Christianity have different views on medical
treatment due to different beliefs. After healthcare professionals are educated on religions that
may be encountered this can allow healthcare professionals to deliver better care to patients.
Healthcare will always provide the highest level of care regardless of an individual’s faith or
religious beliefs because healthcare will always meet the need of all patients.
Health Care Analysis with Comparison in Christianity
In society today nursing is considered a very respectful profession and nurses are what
hold together a patient’s healthcare because they are the individuals that spend more time with
the patient than anyone else. Also, registered nurses work effortlessly to protect and identify the
needs of the patient when their patient’s in need of care. A nurse is responsible for providing
good customer service, establishing a professional and polite interpersonal relationship, and
maintaining patient confidentiality. Nurses are responsible for explaining and reviewing with the
patient their treatment plan and involve the patient is the decision-making process. For example,
physical exams, the patient’s history, health promotion, counseling, education, and the
